Democracia Viva in Chile

Our organization was born in the middle of the social outburst that led us to create an Assembly to write a new constitution.

This constitution would have ended the Pinochet heritage if it was approved… sadly it wasn’t.

During this Constitutional period (2019 - 2022), we dedicated our efforts during the constitutional process to open the discussion by bringing the “Question project” to the territories and starting a conversation with the people around, creating ephemeral assemblies around the different questions that people made to the Constitution.

When the draft was ready, we invited people to gather and to talk again about the questions and doubts about the New Constitution, finding ourselves in front of a huge fog of fake news.
